About time... not really.

My setting is the Kingdom. My situation is life. My topic is faith.

so where to i begin? i am still in process so i guess i will cover what i have been pondering so far. I am in this book study/discussion. And we are basing our discussion on the book " The Unshakable Kingdom and the Unchanging Person" by E. Stanley Jones. There are things i have been challenged on and persuaded, and other things that i have agreed with. The book is loaded with thought. The book is putting the Kingdom back into perspective. E. Stanley Jones is presenting the Kingdom in its proper place.

Tonight, in our discussion we really pondered and mangled the question of the absolute Kingdom and relative man, and church. We were playing with the idea that man so often brings his own interpretation to scripture and is unwilling to hear others, that unity is not present. Could it be that many interpretations are God-honoring, Kingdom centered, and Kingdom advancing.

the world is founded on Kingdom principles and only Kingdom principles with produce and prevail. Sin is a cancer, and it doesn't work. It is a lazy glutton, that eventually dies. Why are we so worried about what will work or not? If we walk in the Kingdom, we will know peace, the Prince of Peace, and he will guide us.

Peace is un-mistaken. You cannot mistake peace. Peace is a by-product of faith. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for. Faith is not things hope for (that is the worldly view.) Faith is the assurance based on knowledge, from trusting God.

Here is what really provoked me to write this Bee Ell Oh Gee (BLOG). I was listening to the the soundtrack to the movie Enchanted. There is a song called "Ever Ever After." The words just sort of rang true. I will give the lyrics at the end.

We need to dream! We need to allow our imagination to explode, and let God work. We say with God all things are possible, but we either expect him to do it or we leave it as a possibility.

On my drive home i was thinking about a particular someone. i admire this person because if the willingness to be bold in imagination. And it hit me that the song i was listening to talks about it. We need to allow our imagination and faith take us to places where only God knows.

I need to let my faith drive everything, and let my dreams flourish. it is really funny. as all of this is happening I pulled up to a light, and the license plate of the van in front of me read "MYF8TH," and it was a "wildflowers" license plate, which is the image i got of the flourishing imagination. It is just like God to do something like this. It almost seemed like the movies. God is on the move, and he wants to take you with Him.

For those of you who don't know, i was accepted into JMU, which has been a dream and prayer, that i have been waiting to come to pass for a few years now. Next week on the 28th i audition to get into the theatre department. They need Jesus, so i will bring Him. If i don't make it in, which is highly unlikely (speaking in faith), i will still go up there and take classes. Nothing is stopping the Kingdom.
